ABOUT RAYMOND
Raymond graduated with an accounting degree from Nanyang Business School, but he knows that it is not a career he wishes to pursue. Understanding that he wants to take control of his career and follow his passion of making positive impact in others’ life, he chanced upon EXO advisory. Inspired by stories of how financial advisory can help people in ways beyond finance, he joined this business in 2009 and never looked back.
Many consultants, whether they are fresh graduates or mid-career transitions, they flourished under his care and guidance. He is always ready to provide an safe space for individuals to share their challenges, help them overcome their fears and instill confidence in them. He believes that as long as one has a willing heart with diligent and deliberate practice, success will follow him or her eventually.
Raymond is now in the role of developing managers and coaching leaders within the team. He is a firm believer of achieving success as a team, and in order to do that, the team needs more leaders, not followers. This belief stems from his journey as a competitive basketball player during his formative years. The experience of fighting alongside his comrades and winning championships together, gave him his first taste of achieving greatness as a team, which proves to be far more satisfying for him, as compared to achieving personal success.

As a father of 2 beautiful daughters, Raymond enjoys spending time with his family, exploring nooks and crannies in Singapore. He also shoot hoops and plays poker with his friends occasionally, when he is not busy reading or coaching people.

And having open, honest conversations with teammates, marks the beginning of a high-performing, well-supported team.
